“What’s in a name?”

I take the boy in yellow brocade gho featured in the K2 supplement (Kuensel dated 04 August 2010) for XiangchupTynze Jatshel. The boy is cute with chubby cheeks, the name beautiful, and hence only befitting. One is commensurate with the other in all proportions. (more…)

Who would you blame: the killer petals or the killed bees? ‘Disabled 17-year-old raped’, read a Kuensel headline dated 06 June 2010. Once again! (more…)

Something Better Than Nothing(but not Shakespeare’s Nothing)

For want of anything better to write about, I look back on my life with my fingers on the keyboard. I didn’t know what I’d keyed in after Clt+F. This came to the fore. Then and now, personally, the highlight of the series of events organized by the Citizens’ Initiative for Centenary and Coronation Celebrations (CICCC) in 2008 was the Grand Quiz Challenge. (more…)
